XStrand® S product is classified as an S-glass according to ASTM C-162, DIN 1259, ISO 2078, ASTM D578, and JIS R3410 standards.

By replacing a steel tank with a XStrand® reinforced tank, the 50 % weight savings achieved could be translated into an additional 2 tons reduction of CO2 emissions over the lifetime of a mid-size car

Depending on applications, XStrand® reinforcements enable up to 50 % weight savings vs. steel and up to 50 % cost saving vs carbon fiber

XStrand® glass fibers can help reinforce pipes withstanding salt and currents in ocean thermal energy power generation project
