Cem-FIL®

For application in cement or concrete, glass fibers are required to be Alkali Resistant (AR). Cem-FIL® fibers are manufactured from a specially formulated glass composition with an optimum level of Zirconia (ZrO2) to meet this requirement. Cem-FIL® glass exhibits a high degree of chemical resistance and was specifically developed to resist the very high alkalinity produced by the hydration of Ordinary Portland Cement.
Cem-FIL® AR glass fibers have high tensile strength and modulus, do not rust and are easily incorporated into concrete mixes.

Product Reference List
Cem-FIL® 54/76

Cem-FIL® 54/76 is a spray roving with easy processing and incorporation, enabling the production of GRC elements with excellent finish and reproduction of detail.

Cem-FIL® 60/3

The high integrity of the product makes it suitable for use in a variety of production processes including vibration-casting, pumping, spraying, or dry-blending with other materials.

Cem-FIL® 61/2

Cem-FIL® 61/2 is a duel purpose roving. In the spray process, Cem-FIL® 61/2 has good split efficiency and easy chopping with low fuzz generation  In the premix process, Cem-FIL® 61/2 can be chopped into small strands with high abrasion resistance.

Cem-FIL® 70/30

Cem-FIL® 70/30 is a special purpose AR glass fiber chopped strand designed for mixing with cement and other materials where a high degree of dispersion of the fibers is needed

Anti-Crak® HD

Anti-Crak® HD is typically used at a low level of addition to prevent cracking & improve the performance of concrete, flooring, renders or other special mortar mixes. They incorporate easily into mixes giving a very large number of distributed reinforcing fibres from a small weight of product. Anti-Crak® HD can be added at the central mixing plant to the wet concrete mix; or directly into the ready-mix truck.

Anti-Crak® HP

Anti-Crak® HP has been developed to improve the mechanical properties of concrete mixes. It is mainly used for floor screeds, slabs, and for the preparation of pre-bagged mixes of special mortars and renders. AR glass reinforcement has a similar density to concrete and does not float. It provides a homogeneous dispersion of the fibres within the concrete mix. Anti-Crak® HP is recommended for shotcrete in very aggressive environments, or for fire-protection of structural frames.

Cem-FIL® 62/3

Cem-FIL® 62/3 is a high integrity AR glass fiber chopped strand designed for use in the manufacture of vibration-cast or premixspray GRC components.

Anti-Crak® W-70

Anti-Crak® W-70 Chopped Strands are particularly suited to the reinforcement of Cement, Heat-Resistant Ceramics, Calcium Silicate or Gypsum matrices, and may also be used to reinforce paints or other coating materials.

ARcoteX® 5326

ARcotex® 5326 is a Direct Roving designed mainly for filament winding and pultrusion, though it can also be used easily as a weaving roving.

Cem-FIL® 62/2

Cem-FIL® 62/2 chopped strand has a sizing system optimised for abrasion resistance and strand integrity during blending with dry materials. The low-tex strand permits efficient reinforcement at low dosages. It is particularly suited to the preparation of prebagged mixes of special mortars or renders.

Cem-FIL® 5325

Cem-FIL® 5325 has been particularly designed for the weaving of woven fabrics, meshes/nets, scrims, etc. It has a size which is compatible with cement-based matrices. The rovings Cem-FIL® 5325 are particularly well suited to the needs of the market for the reinforcements of GRC (Glass Reinforced Cement) as well as screeds, mortars or renders.

Cem-FIL® 54/38

Cem-FIL® 54/38 roving is based on a system with enhanced strength retention resulting from a combination of glass composition and advanced size coating technology. It offers optimum reinforcing efficiency by virtue of its high split, low tex strand, format. It is used mainly in the manufacture of standard GRC panels for roofing, wall cladding and bridge formwork.

Cem-MAT®

Cem-MAT® is designed for use in the reinforcement of very thin layers (5 to 25 mm). It may be added to conventional mixes on site; mix-designs such as self-levelling compounds, during industrial processes or during manual process. AR fibers have a high elastic modulus and tensile strengths making them ideal as an effective reinforcement for cement matrices. They will not rot or corrode, and are unaffected by UV radiation, making them suitable for use with minimal cover.
